Sousa Translations is an independent company, established by the owner Teresa Sousa. With strong technical experience spanning more than 10 years, Sousa Translations has developed a strong familiarity in areas which include legal, medical, educational, organizational and the arts.

This experience and knowledge allows Sousa Translations to provide a professional service that is fast, accurate and accessible to a variety of technical and individual (personal) needs.

Sousa Translations is registered in LA County, Certificate Number 478578-28. Teresa Sousa is a member of The American Translators Association (ATA Id # 232732), National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT Id # 12542) and is a recognized US Federal Court Interpreter.

The language combination in which a translator/interpreter works is directly related to his/her nationality. Teresa Sousa is a native of Portugal, living 17 years in Brazil and 18 years in the US. This immersion allows her to perform high-quality translation and interpreting services related to European Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese and English.
